Where We End and Begin Box

Book: Where We End & Begin by Jane Igharo

A unique story that explores rich characters and themes of love, family, loss, secrets, class systems, and discrimination. Written by Canadian-Nigerian author, Jane Igharo the characters of this novel demonstrate that no matter what obstacles are in your way, love and friendship can prevail.

Paired with a collection of goods that complement the novel, and the setting. While we couldn’t source as many Nigerian products as we would have liked we included some amazing options from Canada and Africa.

What is in the box?

*Kenyan Black Tea – JusTea – The most delicious black tea. We love working with JusTea to connect a traditional Kenyan tea to this novel.

*Mango Chips - Chiwis – Mangoes grow with abundance in Nigeria (10th largest Mango producer) making these perfectly sweet mango chips a great snack while reading. With the skin left on you get even more nutrients with every bite!

*Honey Drops – African Bronze Honey Company – Traditional honey drops will be a new favourite candy. Great for everyday or to soothe a sore throat.

*Coconut Pecan Cluster - Handfuel – We went with another snack as we couldn’t resist including another product produced in Nigeria and used there as well. Coconut is common snack, drink and product in personal care items. These low sugar clusters are one of our favourite ways to beat a late afternoon slump.

*Sustain Water Bottle – Danica – A beautiful water bottle great for on-the-go drinking and travel. No concerns about harmful plastics, this water bottle is a favourite for sunny days/afternoons at the office.

*Vanilla & Fig Bar – Perth Soap Co. – We love the all-natural bars made by this small Canadian company. With all natural ingredients these bars are paraben and phthalate free.  Shea butter products and luxurious soaps are a staple in Nigerian homes.

*Stew Recipe – Penguin Books – A delicious recipe similar to the one Obinna’s mother sold at the market. A delicious meal you will love to make on colder days.

*Author Letter – A special letter from the author just for Sweet Readers.
